Teams learn similarly, but they are different from newborns in that they come with many experiences and well-established beliefs and values. For example, look at the behaviour of ordering supplies for a ward. Perhaps the staff believed the supplies would not be available when they needed them, so their behaviour is to over-order.

To get different results, we must first change the behaviours. To change the behaviours, we must first change the beliefs!
